Ok, for those interested, here are the details of the little 3v3 tourneys we’ll be having at the Festive Fun Session.

2 competitions. Adult and Youth.
Adult is 16+ but will be open to some U16s if there are any teams wanting to incorporate.
Youth is 12-15 year old with exception made for players parents where they want to play with their kids. U12s can get involved where suitable (and/or parents involved).
You will not be able to play in both competitions (to let as many people as possible play).

If we have more than 6 teams per competition then some teams aren’t going to get to play. I’ll look at it as a first come first served basis, unless we’re over represented by certain age groups and then I’ll have to make some harsh decisions. Don’t be shy though, even if you don’t get in the numbers applying might see us do a mid-season in house tournament for more teams.

No cost to enter.
Maximum 6 teams per competition
Maximum of 3 players per team (won’t be time for subs).
Supply a team name if you have one – a logo will be provided along with numbered shirts (mostly from the JrNBA/old club stock)

Structure:
Each team will get 3 matches total.
Game timings will be strict to make sure all game can be completed.
Youth will start promptly at 1820 hours and finish about 1924 hours – 5 min per game or first to 14 points & 7 mins or first to 16 points for the final.
Adult will start after that at 1930 hours and finish about 2052 hours – 7 mins or first to 16 points and 10 mins or first to 20 points for the final.

In the finals, tied games will be next basket wins for 1 minute…then a coin flip.
